Should the security settings of a monitored machine change?

Hi All

I need to monitor 10 Windows servers.
I have the ports configured.

I have one Windows monitoring service running in the same network.

However there is the issue of "Performance Monitoring Group" (PMG) arises.

I know that the user running the monitoring service should be added to the PMG.

However should there be a change to the security settings of each of the 10 servers? i.e log on as a service.

Answer or documentation would help.
